This virtual course is designed to help candidates gain a good understanding of the topics that are commonly tested on the Licensed Customs Broker Exam. It is also a great option for those who are looking for training in the fields of import compliance and customs brokerage in the United States.

This course consists of 30 hours of virtual classroom instruction in the following most commonly tested topics to help candidates prepare for the Licensed Customs Broker Exam:

Classification, Entry/Entry Summary requirements, Trade Agreements, Broker Compliance, Valuation, Free Trade Zone & Warehouses, Practical Exercises, Fines Penalties and Forfeitures, Marking, Bonds, Drawback, Anti-Dumping/Countervailing duties, Intellectual Property Rights, Power of Attorney, Recordkeeping, and Quota

These lectures will introduce the topics, explain important concepts and guide candidates to do additional reading and homework quizzes to gain mastery. After completing the lectures and accompanying quizzes, candidates can practice taking over 20 full length actual old practice exams online to improve their ability to quickly obtain and apply relevant information to answer test questions.

Course schedule

Each course will have 30 hours of virtual classroom instruction, delivered over 4 weekends, comprising of two 4 hour long classes each week on Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM EST with 15 minutes break. Courses will generally be scheduled in February and March for the April exam and August and September for the October exam. If these dates or timings do not suit, drop us a line and we may be able to schedule additional courses.

Candidates can register and attend the virtual course from anywhere using a computer connected to the internet with the required video class software.

Fees

The course fee is $1,250 only payable in full before the first class.

Textbook

The lessons are available to registered candidates as online text on the website. Candidates can also order a printed textbook which can be used as reference material while taking the exam.

Attendees may access the reference material electronically from the download page or purchase the required publications either through the Government Printing Office or Boskage Publications/Thomson Reuters .

The exam reference material will be provided electronically by CBP. Examinees have the option to bring in their own exam reference material or use the electronic exam reference material provided.
